We live in a messy and often seemingly hopeless world, marked by brokenness passed down through generations. Yet as we continue through this Advent season, we are reminded of hope in the blessing of children. “She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” (Matthew 1:21) For we have hope even in the midst of hopelessness, because Christ was born to die, because of the works of Christ on the cross, and because He defeated sin and death itself.
