Joy

The serpent is subtly deceiving our flesh. He tells us and the world that everything must revolve around ourselves, making us our own kings and queens. Yet this Advent season, we are reminded that God is calling and drawing all nations to Christ, the true and rightful King. Our response should mirror that of the three Magi in the book of Matthew. When they encountered Christ, they bowed the knee and surrendered to His lordship. They see what we must see, that in the presence of Christ there is fullness of joy!
