Matthew 21:1-17

The people of Jesus' day were looking for the Messiah to solve the nation's problems immediately. That didn’t happen, why? Because Jesus was going after something much bigger than the Roman oppression. Jesus was going after the main thing, sin and its power over us. Because Jesus went to the cross, we are liberated and restored as God’s people.
