Exodus 7:14-25

God sends the first plague against the Egyptians, striking their demon god of the Nile and their false religious system associated with it, making it wretched. This reveals their misplaced trust, as they appeared satisfied in creation rather than the Creator. And so, we are left with the question: what idols have we carved? What must we repent of and leave behind as we seek our satisfaction in Christ?
